Pertamina to auction 20 excess LNG cargoes next month

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina plans to hold a tender next month to atract potential buyers LNG in Japan and South Korea to buy 20 cargoes of Indonesian LNG surplus output this year.
Nanang Untung, Pertamina's gas senior vice president, said the firm would eye a group of Japanese buyers, known as Western Buyers, and South Korean firm Kogas in the tender.
"We however have yet to get approval from oil and gas upstream sector regulator BPMIGAS for the tender," he said.
According to him, Indonesia will have a LNG production surplus amounting to 20 cargoes this year. (Godang)
