Pertamina to become public company

State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina will change into a non-listed public company late January 2008, Media Indonesia reported on Friday.
?The State Minister for State-owned Enterprises expects Pertamina to become a pioneer, ?Sudirman Said said, the newly appointed corporate secretary of Pertamina, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
In line with the change, Pertamina will start to abide by capital market rules, such as transparency, accountability for the public and issuing report regularly. (*)
