Pertamina to bring S. Sumatra discovery into production by year-end

State oil and gas company Pertamina will drill two delineation wells in Gunung Kemala discovery onshore South Sumatra and hopes to bring the discovery into production by the end of the year.

"As we have already have production facilities there, we are planning fast track development with output aimed at around 3,000 barrels per day,? acting upstream director Eteng A. Salam Friday.

Pertamina announced Gunung Kemala discovery late last year. (alex/godang)
