Pertamina to build aviation refueling depot in West Java?s new airport

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina and the West Java provincial administration signed on Tuesday an agreement to build an aviation fuel depot at an international airport that is planned to be developed in Kertajati, Majalengka regency, West Java.

The agreement was signed by Pertamina?s President Director Dwi Soetjipto and West Java?s Governor Ahmad Heryawan at Pertamina?s headquarters in Jakarta, according to a press release from Pertamina.

At present, Pertamina operates 62 aviation fuel depots across the country, selling jet fuel and aviation gasoline. Jet fuel consumption in the last two years reached 4 million kiloliters per year and it is projected to increase by 2.5 to 6 percent per year in the coming years.
