Pertamina to build fuel terminal in Tuban

Haryono Saleh, the general manager of Pertamina's marketing unit V, said in Surabaya on Thursday that with the construction of the Tuban terminal, the availability of fuel stock could be increased to 24 days from 20 days at present.
He said that the Tuban terminal would be connected through a pipeline to the company's fuel receiving terminal in Tanjung Perak port in East Java. In addition, Pertamina would also build new fuel storage in Sidorejo to further increase the company's fuel stock capacity.
By 2005, the number of new fuel stations in East Java would be also increased to 50, Haryono said, adding that Pertamina's marketing unit V has so far operated 533 fuel stations in East Java, 97 fuel stations in Bali, 32 fuel stations in West Nusa Tenggara and 26 fuel stations in East Nusa Tenggara.
