Pertamina to build storage terminal in East Java

State oil and gas company Pertamina will build an oil storage and main transit terminal in Tuban, East Java that will be able to store and handle 350,000-400,000 kilo liters of oil products to cater to the province?s growing fuel consumption, a Pertamina director told Petromindo.com Tuesday.
Pertamina?s director of marketing and trading Achmad Faisal said that the facility?s construction would begin this year with construction time estimated at 24 months.
Faisal said the terminal?s facilities would include mooring, submarine pipeline and 100-km pipeline that would connect Tuban with the province?s capital of Surabaya.
Pertamina had issued tender notice for the project on Monday. (godang)
