Pertamina to buy LPG from spot market

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina said that it would buy 6,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the sport market in June of this year.
“Surely, we’ll have sufficient supply of LPG but in June, we have to import 6,000 tons,” Pertamina’s deputy director for marketing and distribution Hanung Budaya Yuktyanta said in Jakarta Tuesday.
He said that the import of 6,000 tons of LPG is small compared to the total LPG need that reaches 300,000 tons. “Most of the LPG needs can be met by domestic refineries,” he said as quoted by Bisnis Indonesia.(*)
