State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina is hopeful that a number of its projects could be realized and running in 2013 including a couple of floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs), mini LNG plant, and biomass power plants in Bekasi, West Java, and Makassar, South Sulawesi.

Pertamina, in fact, has obtained partners from South Korea and Japan to jointly develop the power plant projects.

?For gas projects in 2013, we?re waiting for the FID (final investment decision) of the Arun-Medan FSRU, Central Java FSRU, and the mini LNG (project) in eastern part of Indonesia. We?re targeting these to be up and running in 2013,? Director for Gas and Power at Pertamina Hari Karyuliarto told Petromindo.com Monday.

He added that Pertamina has allocated US$800 million for the LNG and power plant projects.
