Pertamina to develop fuel sub-distribution facility in Selayar Islands

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina is preparing to develop an oil fuel sub-distribution unit in Selayar Islands, South Sulawesi, as a pilot project.

Downstream regulator BPH Migas said in a statement recently that the facility is expected to help ensure fuel supply in remote areas.

The statement said that similar pilot projects will also be developed in three other regencies including Solok (West Sumatra), Merauke (Papua), and Indragiri Hilir (Riau).
