Pertamina to distribute 1.7 million LPG packages this year

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina has been assigned by the government to distribute 1.732 million packages of 3-kg LPG to first users among poor households and small enterprises in several provinces across the country this year.
The 3-kg LPG packages should be distributed in Aceh, West Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Sumatra, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi and Southeast Sulawesi.
The costs will be shouldered by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, according to the ministry?s decree No.1732 K/10/MEM/2013 signed by Minister Jero Wacik on March 22, 2013.
