Pertamina to double crude import in August

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina will open tender for 2.4 million barrels of crude for Agust delivery, or double July requirement, a company official said on Monday.
Processing Director Rukmi Hadihartati told a parliamentary hearing that the high volume of crude imported was to anticiapte fall in local refineries production.
Rukmi said that for July delivery, Pertamina had selected KIPCO to supply 600,000 barrels of Seria crude and Petronas to supply 600,000 barrels of Kikeh crude.(bernard)
