PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero), will drill 10 wells in four CBM blocks this year, in line with the 2016 Work Program and Budget (WP&B).

President Director Gunung Sardjono said to Petromindo.com recently that the ten wells include four in Muara Enim PSC, one in Sangatta I CBM PSC, three in Sangatta II CBM PSC, and two in Tanjung Enim CBM PSC.

Gunung added that PHE is focusing on the four CBM blocks.

"If we have enough budget, then we will execute the drilling. But if we experience financial difficulties, we will ask to SKK Migas to postpone and reschedule it," he said.

According to Gunung, the 2016 planned drilling depends to the company?s joint partner, because PHE serves as operator only in one block, namely Muara Enim CBM PSC.

In Muara Enim 1 CBM PSC, PHE as operator owns a 65 percent interest. In Sangatta I CBM PSC, PHE as partner has a 52 percent interest. In Sangatta II CBM PSC, PHE as partner holds a 40 percent interest. In Tanjung Enim CBM OSC, PHE as partner owns 27.5 percent interest.
