After Australia, Oman and Myanmar will be the next foreign markets state oil and gas company Pertamina will sell its lubricant products in 2010.

?After Sydney, we will enter Perth, Melbourne, Myanmar and Oman next year,? Pertamina marketing director Ahmad Faisal said after a ceremony to mark the company?s 52nd anniversary on Thursday.

Pertamina will also open its first gas station in Sydney, given its open market. ?If we do a good business in Australia we will expand our markets,? he said. The gas station is expected to operate in mid-2010.

The gas station will cost the company between Rp 30 billion and Rp 40 billion a year

Pertamina has no intention to expand business in Southeast Asia due to the presence of state owned oil companies to protect domestic products. (bernard)
