Pertamina to hire new financial auditor

State owned oil company PT Pertamina will hire a new financial auditor to carry out a special audit in the company, the company's president Widya Purnama said in Jakarta on Thursday.

He said that the tender for the recruitment of the new auditor would be held within next few weeks. "Major auditors including the big four will be also invited to join the bidding," he was quoted as saying by Bisnis Indonesia.

Pertamina recently assigned Ernst and Young to carry out a special auditing work in the company. It is not clear yet whether the new auditor would take over Ernst and Young's job. (*)
