Pertamina?s Vice President for Communication Basuki Trikora Putra said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the company would also import 5.7 million barrels of Premium gasoline, 3.6 million barrels of diesel fuel and 680,000 barrels of marine fuel oil (MFO) in February to maintain the fuel stocks at a safe level.
As of Monday the company?s stocks for almost all types of fuels remained at a safe level despite the import plan. The stock for Premium gasoline is sufficient enough for 18 days of consumption, while for kerosene, diesel fuel and aviation fuel (avtur) are sufficient enough for 57 days, 21.5 days and 34 days, respectively.
