Pertamina to import 2.4MT of LPG this year

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) will import 2.4 million tonnes of LPG this year to meet domestic requirement, a company official said on Tuesday.
Deputy Director Marketing Hanung Budya said 1.2 million tonnes will be provided by Bermuda-based Petredec Limited, with which the company has`10-year supply contract and another half from various suppliers.
?Pertamina is preparing the tender,? he said, adding that Pertamina would not buy LPG from Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan this year as the plant has decided not to produce LPG. (godang)
