State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina said that its crude and fuel import volume this year is estimated to reach 300 million barrels.

Daniel Purba, Vice President of Pertamina?s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), said on Monday that the company?s six refineries are targeted to process a total of 862,000 bpd. About 64 percent of the crude supply, or more than 555,000 bpd will come from domestic sources, while the remainder 36 percent, or about 306,000 bpd from imports. Last year, import accounted for 40 percent.

He said that of the total planned import of 300 million barrels this year, about 100 million barrels will be in the form of crude, while the remainder in the form of fuel products such as premium gasoline and diesel.
