Pertamina to import 4 cargoes of gasoline

State oil, gas firm PT Pertamina is importing 4 cargoes of gasoline fuel from spot market for December-January consumption, a senior officer said on Wednesday.

Pertamina?s deputy director of marketing Hanung Budya said two cargoes will arrive at the end of December and another 2 two cargoes arrive in early January next year.

One cargo is equal to 200,000 MT, he said.

Pertamina usually imports 3 million barrels of gasoline each month. Pertamina is increasing imports as the Balongan refinery is still shut down for maintenance since October. (Bernard)
