Pertamina to import more fuel for holidays

State owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina will import more gasoline and diesel from to anticipate increasing demand during the Idul Fitri holidays.
Pertamina will add 600,000 barrels of gasoline on top of its planned purchase of 3.8 million barrels, Hanung Budya, deputy director of marketing, told reporters on Friday.
Besides, the company will increase diesel imports by 600,000 barrels from 5.6 million barrels the company had planned earlier.
“The imports will be carried out this month and next month,” he said, adding that the company would also buy 600,000 barrels of kerosene next month. (Godang/Bernard)
