State owned oil and gas company will import an additional 1 million kiloliters of fuel this month as it is going to shut down its Balikpapan refinery in East Kalimantan for maintenance.
?The Balikpapan refinery will be shut down for maintenance this month as scheduled. Thus, we have to import to cover the output losses caused by the turnaround, which is about 10 percent of the national consumption. We may import between 1 and 1.2 million kiloliters for all fuel products,? Pertamina?s deputy director of marketing and commerce Hanung Budya Yuktiakto said on Friday. (Godang)
