Pertamina to import more Premium gasoline

State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina will increase Premium gasoline imports by between 200,000 and 400,000 barrels per month in anticipation of rising demand during school holiday period from June to August 2007, Investor Daily reported Tuesday.
Pertamina’ head of fuel division Djaelani Sutomo said in Jakarta Monday that the additional imports represents between six and 14 percent of the average import of three million barrels per month under normal condition.
He said he had received reports from gas stations that demand has started to pick up. (*)
