State oil and gas company Pertamina plans to import up to 11 million barrels of fuel in May, down from the planned 11.9 million barrels in April, the company official said.
?Fuel imports in May will be down to 10.5-11.0 million barrels, because there is an increase in fuel output from Pertamina?s refineries,? Pertamina's deputy director for marketing and commerce, Hanung Budya said on Tuesday.
The fuels whose imports will decline in May include Premium gasoline, high speed diesel (HSD), kerosene and marine fuel oil (MFO), he said, without providing detals. (godang/bernard)
