Pertamina to repeat tender to appoint asset appraiser

The state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina will repeat the selection process to appoint an independent appraiser of its assets amid alleged unfair practices during the initial selection, according to company president Baihaki Hakim.

He was quoted by the Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying that several appraisers participating in the previous tender process had made a protest.

?After assigning an audit team, it is true that there?s evidence of (unfair practices). So I ordered them to repeat the tender,? Baihaki was quoted by the Bisnis Indonesia daily as saying Wednesday.(*)
