State oil and gas company PT Pertamina has set a target to sell over 600,000 kiloliters (kl) of non-subsidized fuels next year.

Pertamina marketing director Ahmad Faisal expressed his guarded optimism that the company would meet the target by improving services through its newly introduced marketing program called ?Certainly Satisfied? which has been on trial in Surabaya in the past month.

"We offer additional services, for example a 5 percent discount to buy entry ticket at Kidzania playground for our customers? children if they buy Pertamax or a bottle of soft drink,? he said on Thursday.

The trial revealed that the program managed to increase Pertamax CS sales by 20 percent.

?After Surabaya we will launch the program in Jakarta,? he said. (bernard)
