Pertamina to shut Balikpapan refinery unit in February

Stated owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina will shut a crude distilling unit (CDU) at its Balikpapan refinery in February for regular maintenance, a company official said.
The CDU, with a capacity of 200,000 barrels per day, will be closed for as long as 21 days, Suroso Atmomartoyo, Pertamina's director of processing, told reporters in Jakarta Thursday.
The refinery's other 60,000 barrel per day CDU won't be shut down, he added.
The CDU produces various products namely Ligh Naptha, Heavy Naptha, Kerosene, LGO, HGO, and Long residue.
The Balikpapan refinery is located in East Kalimantan and has the capacity to process 260,000 barrels of oil a day.(*)
