Pertamina to shut down Cilacap refinery for maintenance

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina will shut a unit at one of its two refineries in Cilacap, Central Java from Sept. 12 for 22 days of maintenance, a company official said Friday
Processing director Suroso Atmomartoyo said the company will buy oil products from several producers in the Middle East as well as from the spot market to compensate for the shortfall during the period.
The unit has a processing capacity of 230,000 barrels a day.
Pertamina has nine refineries throughout the country, with a total capacity of 1.06 million. (dino)
