Pertamina to shut one crude distillation unit in Cilacap next month: Report

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina is planning to shut one of two crude distillation units at its Cilacap refinery in the last week of September for a turnaround, a company official told the Dow Jones Newswires on Wednesday in Jakarta.
The shutdown is expected to take around 21 days, Rachmat Derajat, a Pertamina deputy director said.
The unit processes 50,000 barrels a day of crude into fuel products, lubricant and asphalt, he added.
Pertamina has secured fuel products from a supplier to meet supply shortages caused by the turnaround so that it won't need to seek a crude processing deal, Rachmat said, but declined to name the supplier. (*)
