The state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina is scheduled to sign a second gas sale contract with Singapore some time in February, according to company production sharing management director Iin Arifin Takhyan.
Iin was quoted by the Neraca daily that the contract would be signed with Singapore's Gas Supply Private Ltd., a unit of Singapore Power. He said that price negotiation was now in the final stages.
Iin said that the gas would come from South Sumatera, which is being operated by a consortium led by Gulf Indonesia Resources.
The gas will be delivered via underwater pipeline.
In the middle of this month, Pertamina signed a gas sale contract with Singapore's Sambas.
The gas was sourced from West Natuna and distributed through an underwater pipeline. (*)
