Pertamina to sign C. Java exploration deal with Petronas, PetroVietnam

State oil and gas company PT. Pertamina is reviving plan to form tri-partite joint venture with PetroVietnam and Petronas to jointly explore Pertamina?s Randu Gunting block onshore Central Java, a company official said Thursday.
?Joint venture agreement would be signed by the end of this year,? said Pertamina E&P director Tri Siwindono said on Thursday.
The three companies had been planning the joint venture formation since 2003.
He said Pertamina would hold 40 percent working interest on the block with its two partners equally share the balance. (godang)
