Pertamina to soon hold biodiesel tender

State-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina plans to soon hold tenders for the supply of biodiesel in the eastern part of Indonesia and for state-owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Kompas reported on Saturday.
The paper quoted Pertamina Vice President for Corporate Communications Ali Mundakir as saying that the company was currently assessing the ports at the destination points. ?Once we have completed checking out the ports, we?ll immediately open the tender, announced in the media,? he said.
Meanwhile, Director General of New Energy and Renewable Energy, Rida Mulyana that the tenders will be for the supply of 805,000 kilo liters of biodiesel in the eastern part of Indonesia, and 749,000 kilo liters to meet the demand of PLN. (*)
