Pertamina to spend Rp12b for community development

State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina’s Upstream Area Operation (DOH) has allocated Rp 12 billion for 2004 to use for community development (CD) in Prabhumulih, South Sumatra, Bisnis Indonesia newspaper reported in its Tuesday edition.
This money will be used basically for the development of the area.
“The Rp 12 billion funds will be used as rotating fund for the small scale industries and cooperative societies,” head of Pertamina’s DOH public relations department Muhammad Guril said in Prabhumulih on Monday.
According to him, a big portion of the above fund will be used for infrastructure development and other facilities like schools and areas related to religion. (*)
