State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) plans to use LNG that it will buy Chevron?s IDD project in East Kalimantan to its planned LNG onshore LNG terminal in West Java, the floating storage and regasification units (FSRU) in Cilacap, and the Aceh LNG plant.

VP for LNG, Gas and Power at Gas Directorate of Pertamina Didik Sasongko Widi told Petromindo.com that the LNG onshore terminal in West Java is planned to start operation in the end of 2017.

?We also plan to build an FSRU in Semarang, Central Java, but it's not certain yet. Plans that have been certain are for the Arun LNG plant project in Aceh and the LNG onshore terminal project in West Java,? he said.
