PT Pertamina Hulu Energy Bagus Setiardja will turn around gas field Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) for one week, starting from Dec. 19, 2009.
The planned maintenance of the field that suppplies gas to combined cycle power plants PLTGU Muara Karang and PLTGU Tanjung Priok, both in North Jakarta, had been informed to state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), the owner of both power plants, the firm's President Director Bagus Setiardja said on Wednesday.
"Surely, PLN has taken anticipatory measures because we have long informed about the plan and it?s based on our agreement with the company,? said Bagus.
The maintenance was initially scheduled to start from Nov. 16 to 23, 2003 but PLN asked Pertamina to delay the plan because of failure in its main relay station in Cawang, South Jakarta (*)
