Pertamina to widen its lubricant market to Russia, US

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina said it is planning to expand its lubricant market by entering the Russian and the US market after successfully entering the Chinese market, a company official said.

"God willing, our lubricant containers will soon be heading toward the US and Russian market," Djaelani Sutomo, Director for Marketing and Commercial of Pertamina told Petromindo.com.

He expects Pertamina's lubricant products will soon penetrate the US market in March this year. He said it without mentioning the time-table for Pertamina to enter the Russian market.

The contribution of lubricant products sales to Pertamina total revenue is stll relatively small, however it is steadily growing.
