Pertamina Tongkang receives ISO and ISM-Code certificates

Oil tanker operator Pertamina Tongang, a subsidiary of state oil company Pertamina, has received ISO 9001:2000 quality management certificate from Lloyd?s Register Quality Assurance of London.
The company has also received ISM-Code safety system management award from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
The certificates were handed over to the president of PT Pertamina Tongkang, Asril Arifin, in a simple ceremony on Monday.
He said that the certificate was given after three processes of audit conducted by Lloyd?s Quality Assurance. The document review, the first stage of the audit, was made in February 26- 27, then preliminary assessment in March 1 ? 13 while the final assessment was carried out in April 16 and 17.(*)
