Pertamina Tongkang to expand fleet
PT Pertamina Tongkang, a marine carrier subsidiary of state oil and gas firm PT Pertamina said it would order two supply vessels this year to expand its existing fleet.
President Director Djaelani Sutomo said on Tuesday that the two vessels, which will carry 5,000-6,000 HP engine, will be ordered from domestic shipyard. He estimated the price of each vessel would be at around US$15 million.
Currently Pertamina Tongkang operates 29 vessels, 17 of which are owned by the company. (bernard)
