Pertamina tour Gulf countries to seek for LNG and partners for refinery project

Pertamina?s president Ari Soemarno said the delegation led by company vice president Iin Arifin Takhyan was scheduled to visit Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
In Qatar, they will look for the possibility of importing LNG to cover Indonesia?s export obligation. Ari, however, did not provide details on the amount of the LNG as well to which countries Indonesia would ship the LNG.
In three countries, the delegation would also offer cooperation to build the refinery which Pertamina plans to build in Tuban with the processing capacity of 250,000 barrels per day.
In Kuwait, the delegation would ask the country to increase its gasoline exports to Indonesia from 1.8 barrels per month at present. (Godang)
