Pertamina, Toyota, RNI begin joint biofuel research

State owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, state owned plantation firm PT RNI, and Toyota Motor Corp on Thursday made a maiden harvest of Napier Grass at a pilot plantation in Majalengka, West Java .
Pertamina said in a statement the grass will be used as feedstock for a joint biofuel research and development.
If the pilot project proves successful, it will be expanded to the next stage, Pertamina said.
