The statement said that Pertamina Abherka FSO was previously a large range tanker with capacity of 86,000 DWT called MT Geudondong. It was converted into an FSO in 2012 at Cosco Shipyard, China. It?s Pertamina?s first FSO vessel.

The statement said that following the transfer, the Pertamina Abherka FSO would be re-deployed for operation at West Madura Offshore block operated by Pertamina subsidiary PT Pertamina Hulu Energi. The vessel has been leased out to PHE WMO for 10 years under a contract starting 2012.
