Pertamina tries to maintain Subang field production volume

State oil and gas company Pertamina will drill new wells at its Subang gas field West Java to keep production from the field at 190 MMCFD, CEO Ari Soemarno said on Tuesday.
Currently, he said, Subang field supplied gas to Krakatau Steel, PLN and other customers.
The field has reserves of 1.1 TCF, he said, adding that the block had stared producing gas and condensate since 2004. Prseident SBY is slated to inaugurate Subang drilling along with other energy and mining projects on March 21. (godang)
