Pertamina unit starts selling new chemical product Corrosion Inhibitor

Petrochemical Trading Pertamina, a unit of state energy company PT Pertamina, is collaborating with Research and Technology Center of Pertamina, to officially start marketing a new chemical product, called Corrosion Inhibitor.
The product delivery was officially launched by Vice President Petrochemical Trading Waljianto and VP for Downstream Research & Technology Masputra Agung in Jakarta on Tuesday (25/06).
Waljianto said the product is used to optimize the production of refineries, including by PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI) in Tuban, East Java. TPPI is the first customer that uses the chemical product.
He added the Corrosion Inhibitor product, developed by Downstream Research and Technology Center of Pertamina, will also be used by other refineries of Pertamina.
