PPT Energy Trading Co. Ltd., a trading arm of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, this year has obtained 11 uncommitted LNG cargoes from Mahakam block, operated by Total, and Maura Bakau block, operated by Eni, both in East Kalimantan Province.

A source told Petromindo.com over the weekend that this includes four LNG cargoes from Jangkrik LNG plant won by PPT during a recent tender. ?We have recently won tender of four LNG cargoes, delivery will take place in the fourth quarter (of this year),? the source said. ?For this year, the total is 11 cargoes from tender held by Total at Mahakam, and Eni at Jangkrik.?

The official said that the 11 cargoes will be delivered to portfolio players such as Shell and BP, and end users.

Meanwhile, Wiko Migantoro, Vice President of LNG Directorate at Pertamina, said earlier that tender of 9 out of the 11 uncommitted LNG cargoes from Bontang plant in East Kalimantan, has been recently completed, and won by PPT and Mitsui.

PPT is 50 percent owned by Pertamina, and the remainder held by Japanese firms.
