Pertamina units set for drilling programs this month

Two subsidiaries of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina plan to carry out drilling programs in separates blocks this month.

PT Pertamina EP plans to drill the Albatros Puti (ABP-1) exploration well in the Cepu field in Tuban, East Java, in the second week of December 2016. ?If there are no obstacles, I expect (drilling) to be completed in the third week of December,? said General Manager of Pertamina Asset IV Field Cepu, Agus Amperianto to Petromindo.com on Monday, without providing further details.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) is scheduled to carry out 2D seismic survey at the Abar and Anggursi offshore blocks in West Java this week, said General Manager of PHE Abar & Anggursi, Theodoros Duma to Petromindo.com on Monday.

This portal reported earlier that IDX-listed oil and gas services company PT Elnusa Tbk will deploy its recently acquired seismic vessel for seismic survey activities at the Abar and Anggursi blocks.
