Pertamina unveils 2011 oil, gas production, lifting target

State oil, gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero) aims to produce 229,087 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 1,519.88 mmscfd of gas in 2011 from its units, the company said in presentation material to House of Representatives on Monday.

Pertamina units including Pertamina EP is expected to produce 133,000 bopd and 1,089.93 mmscfd of gas, Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) 88,887.52 bopd and 429.96 mmscfd of gas, and EP Cepu to produce 7,200 bopd.

For oil and gas lifting, Pertamina EP aims to lift of 133,000 bopd and 844.41 mmscfd of gas, PHE 86,234.44 bopd and 383.62 mmscfd and Cepu EP 7,200 bopd.

In an earlier statement from Pertamina EP, this year?s production target to reach 128,000 bopd and 1,096 mmscfd

Meanwhile, according to Pertamina?s website, PHE currently produces around 33,000 bopd of oil and 166.37 mmscfd of gas. It is expected that the production will increase up to 160,000 bopd and 356.57 mmscfd by year 2014. (godang)
