Pertamina will lower prices of fuel for industries

State owned oil and gas company Pertamina will soon lower the prices of fuels for industries by about five percent in line with the decline in the prices of crude oil in the international market, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Wednesday.
The head of Pertamina?s fuel marketing division, Ahmad Faisal, confirmed in Jakarta on the plan to cut the prices of fuel for industries, saying that the new prices would be announced today (Wednesday).
?The new prices have been fixed but they have not been approved by Pertamina?s president director Widya Purnama,? he was quoted as saying.
Pertamina adjusts the prices of fuels for industries every month in line with the price trend in the international market. At present, the price of the burning fuel is Rp 3,870 (US$=Rp.10,050) per liter, industrial diesel oil Rp 5,940, automotive diesel oil Rp 6,170, kerosene Rp 6,480 and Premium fuel Rp 5,890. (*)
