Pertamina wins case against Panutan Selaras

Wednesday, January 31 2001 - 04:00 AM WIB

The Jakarta Administrative Court has ruled in favor of the state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina over a case filed by PT Panutan Selaras, a fuel distributor company owned by former authoritarian president Soeharto's eldest son Sigit Hardjojudanto, according to the Neraca daily.

Panutan filed the case after Pertamina gave the company a 3-month suspension following the mixing of premium gasoline product with kerosene and sold to the public.

But the court said that suspension decision made by Pertamina was already in line with the existing regulation.

The suspension ends in August last year. (*)
