Pesona Khatulistiwa looks for buyers for its coal

East Kalimantan low-rank coal producer PT Pesona Khatulistiwa Nusantara (PKN) said it is looking for offtakers for its 2010-11 coal production.
Marketing Manager Joy W. Sugoto told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the mine will produce 1.3 million tones (MT) in 2010 and 2.5MT in 2011.
?Potential offtakers are welcome as thus far, 2010/11 production is still uncontracted,? he said.
This year, the company, which started production last month, will produce 160,000 tonnes of coal to be shipped to India and the Phillipines.
The mine produces coal with CV of 5,100Kcal/kg (ADB), TM 43%, ash 3.5% and sulfur 0.15%, he said.
