Petcon to spud Nangka#1 well this month

Oil and gas company Petcon Borneo Limited plans to spud the Nangka#1 well at Palangkaraya block in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, in the third week of March.
Conoco Phillips Indonesia, as Petcon?s partner, on Wednesday submitted the plan to the Kapuas Regent on Wednesday.
?The rig is already in a standing position, ready to spud scheduled for the third week of March,? said Manager of Corporate Communications at ConocoPhillips Indonesia, Joang Laksanto told Petromindo.com.
The Nangka#1 well will be drilled using rig owned by IDX-listed PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk, he added.
ConocoPhillips has 49 percent interest in the block with operator Petcon Borneo Ltd. holding the balance.
