PetroChina Jabung seeking gas buyer

PetroChina Jabung Ltd is looking for buyers of 20 mmscfd of gas produced at Jabung Block in Jambi, a company senior official said.
The then director general of oil and gas Evita Legowo had appointed state-owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) as the buyer of the gas, but the company did not take it, Achmad Sabidi, General Manager of PetroChina Jabung said on Thursday.
As a result, PetroChina had postponed several development projects at the block. ?We could not proceed without certainty on the GSA,? he said, referring to gas sales agreement.
Achmad said his company is waiting for further direction from upstream authority SKK Migas.
