PetroChina sees 2009 production at 100,000 BOEPD

Indonesian unit of Chinese oil, gas firm PetroChina said on Monday its production in 2009 is expected to increase to 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent (BOEPD) from 94,000 BOEPD last year.

Company?s VP Administration Budi Setiadi told Petromindo.Com that the increase would come from Jabung Block onshore Jambi, which produces oil and gas and Sukowati oil field in Tuban JOB, onshore East Java.

Apart from Jabung and Tuban, PetroChina operates several producing blocks in Sumatra and West Papua. (alex)
